with the following text we fulfil our duty to inform you under data-protection law and would like to explain transparently how we handle your personal data.
Name and contact details of the controller, contact details of the data protection officer, rights of data subjects, right to data portability, right to revoke consent, right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, automated decision-making, change of purpose, and contact for open questions or complaints follow the same structure as the Privacy Policy — Customers & Prospects. The parts that differ for applicants and employees are listed below.
Purpose of data collection
We require your personal data for the following reasons:
- Reviewing and processing incoming applications
- Conducting job interviews
- Carrying out a selection of applicants
- Conclusion of an employment contract (establishment of an employment relationship)
- Performance of the employment relationship
- Termination of an employment relationship
Legal basis
We process your personal data on the basis of the following legal basis: § 26(1) BDSG-neu (Germany’s revised Federal Data Protection Act).
Legitimate interests of the controller
In order to be able to recruit and hire suitable new staff, or to establish, perform, and terminate an employment relationship, we require a minimum amount of personal data. We always observe the principle of data minimisation and do not collect any personal data that we do not strictly require under section 3 of this privacy policy. If we wish to collect further personal data not covered by section 3, we would ask you for a voluntary declaration of consent.
Internal and external transfer of your personal data
Your personal data is only shared internally within the scope of the purposes defined in section 3 of this privacy policy, in accordance with the principle of data minimisation and the further principles of data protection. External transfer of your personal data may take place under the following circumstances:
- Transfer of your personal data (contact data) within the framework of carrying out the employment relationship to contractors, subcontractors, or cooperation partners, insofar as this is necessary for the performance of orders. Any such transfer will only take place to the extent necessary. Where possible, the transfer of your personal data is avoided.
